Dr. Michael Gottlieb CMO

For over thirty years, Dr. Michael Gottlieb has been affiliated with MetroWest Medical Center.  Dr. Gottlieb did his undergraduate training at S.U.N.Y Harpur College in Binghamton, N.Y.  He then attended S.U.N.Y. Downstate Medical Center in New York City where he received his M.D. degree.   

He served his internship and residendcy in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, University Hospital before coming east to Boston.  He completed his training in Nephrology with a fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Peter Bent Brigham Hospital.  He has held a faculty appointment at Harvard Medcial School for over 30 years.   Since 1992 he has served in an administrative capacity at MetroWest while continuing to practice Nephrology. 

He is a member of numerous professional societys including the American College of Physicians, the American College of Physician Executives, and the American Society of Nephrology.  He has authored and contributed to numerous scientific articles and chapters.
