Thomas Hijeck CNO

Tom Hijeck, RN, Chief Nursing Officer at MetroWest Medical Center is responsible for nursing care and practice at all of the MetroWest’s campuses.  He has been in Nursing since 1978 and has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from the University of Rochester.  He has worked at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York, at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT, and prior to MetroWest, at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT where he worked as a Director of Nursing and as Senior Vice-president of Patient Care Services.
