MWMC Framingham Campus is one of seven Massachusetts hospitals being recognized in the July 21-28^th 100 Best Hospital Issue of US News & World Report for achieving the GWTG-Stroke Gold Award. There are 140 hospitals in the United States being recognized for this Stroke Gold Award. The magazine was released to newsstands on July 14^th.

The Gold Sustained Performance Achievement Award is presented to hospitals by the American Heart Association/ American Stroke Association’s Get With the Guidelines (GWTG) program in recognition of two or more years of following treatment guidelines and maintaining at least an 85 percent performance level.

MWMC Leonard Morse Campus was considered for an Initial Performance Achievement Award for maintaining at least an 85 percent performance level for three consecutive months but did not qualify for the award due to not meeting the minimum number of cases for the quarter.
