  1. Bereavement Support Group

    The Bereavement Support Group is an ongoing support group at MetroWest Medical Center.  Participants include loved ones and caregivers who have lost someone to cancer.  They will have the option of attending group at their convenience.  The group focuses on ways to cope with the loss of a loved one. 

    The group meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 1:30 - 3pm.  Meetings are held in the Medical Arts building on the campus of MetroWest Medical Center at 85 Lincoln Street, Framingham, MA.  We meet in the 4th Floor Conference Room.

  2. Breast Cancer Support Group

    The Breast Cancer Support Group is a long standing group at MetroWest Medical Center.  Participants include woman diagnosed with breast cancer including those newly diagnosed, actively in treatment and post treatment.  The group focuses on ways to manage the challenges of a breast cancer diagnosis and survivorship challenges.  The group has a diverse attendance of long term survivors and newly diagnosed individuals, who are able to share their experiences, learn from each other and support one another.

    The group meets the 3rd Thursday of every month from 7pm – 8:30pm.  Meetings are held in the Cancer Care Center building on the campus of MetroWest Medical Center at 99 Lincoln Street, Framingham, MA.  We meet in the Cancer Care lobby.

  3. Living With Cancer Support Group

    “Living with Cancer” is an ongoing support group at MetroWest Medical Center.  Participants include patients and/or caregivers who will have the option of attending group at their convenience.  The group focuses on ways to manage the challenges that occur with the onset of a cancer diagnosis.  Learning from individuals experiencing similar life events will provide participants with ideas and validation of coping with these difficult changes.

    The group meets every Tuesday from 1pm – 2:30 pm.  Meetings are held in the Medical Arts building on the campus of MetroWest Medical Center at 85 Lincoln Street, Framingham, MA.  We meet in Conference Room C.

  4. Look Good...Feel Better ®

    A free program of the American Cancer Society that teaches beauty techniques to cancer patients to help combat the appearance-related side effects of chemotherapy & radiation treatment. First time participants will receive a FREE bag of skin care products & make up valued over $300!

    Meetings are held from 10am-12 noon in the Medical Arts building on the campus of MetroWest Medical Center at 85 Lincoln Street, Framingham, MA.  We meet in the 4th Floor Conference Room.

  5. Support Groups for Bariatric Surgery
    Dr. Sheldon Randall will host several informational sessions for Bariatric Surgery.

    Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the Helm Auditorium, 65 Union Street, Natick, 2nd floor of the Leonard Morse Hospital.

    Directions to Helm Auditorium:
    Enter through the main hospital entrance. Take the elevator, located around the corner from the visitor’s desk, to the 2nd floor. Exit the elevator, turn left, at corner take left and proceed straight ahead. Helm Auditorium will be located on the left.

  6. Women in Transition Support Group
    “Women in Transition” is a weekly group that offers information, support and helpful coaching to women who need assistance as they transition through challenges that they face in their life.
    • Divorce/ Separation
    • Relationship Building
    • Career Change
    • Empty Nest
    • Mid-life Blues
    • Lack of Energy
    • Feeling Stuck
    • Inability to Manage Stress
    The program is designed to assist women through a period of transformation and empower them to move life forward, becoming self-directed, self-motivated, and self-confident in the process.

    This is a solutions based holistically oriented group that includes nutrition and lifestyle coaching as well as stress management techniques. This group will be led by Tina Marian RN who is a Psychiatric Nurse, Certified Holistic Health and Nutrition Counselor and EFT Practitioner.

    Day: Thursdays

    Time: 5PM – 6PM

    Place: Partial Hospitalization Group Room

    Cost: $20.00 per session
