Blood donation is a vital part of our ability to provide fast, effective medical care. An adequate blood supply keeps up prepared for emergencies, and allows us to serve our neighbors who rely on generous donations of this literally life-giving fluid. That’s why we’re committed to making sure our donation center is a safe and convenient place for you to donate blood.

If you haven’t donated before, we ask that every healthy individual in the MetroWest community who meets the following requirements learn the facts about blood donation and consider stopping in to help save lives.

Community Blood Drives

Last year MetroWest Medical Center collected 5,330 units of blood products needed for our patients.  This achievement is due in large part to our mobile blood drive program.  We can be sure of continued success by asking each healthy individual in each business, school and community group within the MetroWest area to donate blood. Our team is ready and willing to do what it takes to make your drive as convenient and simple as possible.

We bring all the supplies needed for our mobile blood drives including snacks, juice and a special gift for each donor!  For more information or to schedule a mobile blood drive at your facility, please call Amanda Regan at 508-383-1288.
