Volunteers play a vital role at MetroWest Medical Center. We have more than 200 caring volunteers at our Framingham and Leonard Morse Hospitals and they provide much needed support to our staff in a wide variety of roles, from helping with administrative and office projects to greeting new patients.
What are the volunteer requirements?
- The commitment is 4 hours per week for 4 to 6 months
- Volunteers must have 2 TB screenings, administered in our Employee Health office, and produce a health and immunization record from their primary-care physician.
- Summer student volunteers must be at least 15 years old and available one to two days a week for 3 to 4 hours a day during July and August. Student applications are accepted until April 12th.
