I enjoybeing part of a supporting ministry that assists doctors, nurses, and otherclinicians bring healing to the sick.Everyday patients come to MetroWest confronted with life and deathhealth issues. There is tremendoussatisfaction for me knowing that the quality service I provide can help make a positivedifference.
What are two memories fromyour career that stick with you the most?
I will always remember how I got startedin healthcare. Six years ago I was atemporary hire assisting a consulting firm in a distressed hospitalturnaround. I was assigned to thelogistics area. The hospital’s logisticsoperations were improved, the clinical staffs began to have confidence in thesupport they were receiving from the materials management department and the hospitaloffered me a permanent position. I willalways remember that MetroWest Medical Center was willing to hire me to be partof their great hospital team when they could have opted for someone more experiencedin healthcare logistics.
What are three pieces ofadvice you have for living a healthy life?
Eatgenerous amounts of plant-based whole foods and drink plenty of water fornutrition…get plenty of exercise and sunshine…Have a spiritual connection withthe Creator.
