Program Overview

MetroWest Medical Center volunteers are required to commit to four hours per week for four to six months. They also are required to have two tuberculosis screenings, administered in our Employee Health office, and to produce a health record from a primary care physician showing proof of immunizations.

The Student Volunteer Program is an afterschool program that provides an opportunity for students ages 15 to 18 years of age. Student volunteers may assist with clerical duties, running errands, refreshing water patients, etc. We are accepting applications for the fall.  Applicants will be placed based on need and availability. There is a commitment of two-three hours a week, Monday – Friday, for at least 4-6 months. Volunteers will receive a schedule at time of placement and be expected to adhere to their schedule throughout the fall.
