MetroWest volunteers are required to commit to four hours per week for four to six months. They also are required to have two tuberculosis screenings, administered in our Employee Health office, and to produce a health record from a primary care physician showing proof of immunizations.
Summer applications for students will be accepted until April 15th. Applicants will be selected from applications received by April 15th, not on a first received basis. Summer volunteer positions are limited. Applicants will be placed based on need and availability over the summer. Student volunteers must be at least 15 years of age and available to make a commitment of 1-2 days a week for 3-4 hours for a minimum of 7 weeks over the summer. Students will receive a schedule at the time of placement and will be expected to adhere to their schedules throughout the summer. Students interested in the summer program should contact the volunteer services department for more information and application.
Please contact our volunteer services department at (508) 383-1605 with questions or to obtain an application.
