Nursing Per Diem Program
MetroWest Medical Center is pleased to offer a unique program whereby employees can select the level of commitment and be rewarded up to $10 in addition to your base rate.
This Per Diem Program gives employees a financial incentive in return for committing to a certain level of shifts per month and with the understanding that you would be the first to have a shift cancelled should the census go down. There is no limit to the number of times an individual may be cancelled. This is a non-benefit eligible position. The incentive is a higher hourly rate depending on the number of committed shifts and whether or not the position is unit or service based.

| Per Diem III | +$6.00 | +$9.00 | 8 shifts/mo, 3 of which is w/e, 3 holidays including 1 major summer & 1 major winter |
| Per Diem IV | +$8.00 | +$10.00 | 12 shifts/mo, 4 of which is w/e, 4 holidays including 1 major summer & 1 major winter |
The service areas are defined as:
- MED/SURG: Medical Surgical and Telemetry (4 th , 5 th , and 2 nd Floors)
- CRITICAL CARE: ICU and ED
- MATERNAL/CHILD: Maternity and Pedi
This per diem program is currently offered at the Framingham Union Campus only
