Our program is based in Framingham, Massachusetts, home of the world-renowned Framingham Heart Study Referral center for 25 neighboring MetroWest communities Residents from several Harvard Medical School affiliates participate in the training programs. On an annual basis, MetroWest Medical Center has:

• More than 70,000 emergency department visits
• Over 15,000 surgical procedures
• Over 15,000 ambulatory care visits
• Over 2,000 deliveries

Comprehensive cardiac services by cardiologists on staff at both MetroWest Medical Center and Boston's Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Cardiology Unit has both CCU and cardiac catheterization unit. Emergency Department very active referral center for region, headed by full-time emergency room director and full-time emergency room physicians.
