That’s why throughout the year we offer a variety of community events, classes and support groups to help our neighbors get engaged with their health and find positive emotional support during their cancer treatments.

Our support groups include:
Living With Cancer Support Group: Participants include patients and/or caregivers. The group meets every Tuesday from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. in Conference Room C of the Medical Arts building at MetroWest Medical Center.
Breast Cancer Support Group: Participants include women diagnosed with breast cancer, including those newly diagnosed, actively in treatment and those in post treatment. The group meets the 3rd Thursday of every month from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the Cancer Care lobby of the Cancer Care Center building at MetroWest Medical Center.
Bereavement Support Group: Participants include loved ones and caregivers who have lost someone to cancer. The group meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 1:30 - 3 p.m. in Conference Room C of the Medical Arts building atMetroWest Medical Center.
Look Good...Feel Better®: A free program of the American Cancer Society that teaches beauty techniques to cancer patients to help combat the appearance-related side effects of chemotherapy & radiation treatment. First-time participants will receive a FREE bag of skin-care products & make-up valued at more than $300! Meetings are held every six – eight weeks from 10 a.m.-12 noon in the 4th Floor Conference Room of the Medical Arts building at MetroWest Medical Center.
