Dealing with cancer affects all aspects of life. The goal of the MetroWest Cancer Center Living Well Rehabilitation Program is to provide state-of-the-art rehabilitation services in order to maintain or improve a patient’s quality of life throughout any stage of treatment or recovery.

Our rehabilitation department provides individualized evaluation and treatment of patients to assist in managing the potential side effects of cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation and limitations after surgery. Our specially trained therapists are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care close to home for the MetroWest Medical Center community. The Living Well Program can offer you treatment on land or in one of our therapeutic pools.

Regardless of where you are in your survivor’s journey, our therapists will assess your individual needs, including the next steps in your recovery or treatment, and customize a therapy program appropriate for you. Everything will be done at a pace that’s best for you.

Physical, occupational or speech therapy can include:

  • Lymphedema treatment
  • Balance retraining
  • Strengthening
  • Scar tissue management
