At MetroWest Medical Center, we offer a full array of diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic services in a comfortable setting. Our experienced, board-certified radiologists use state-of-the-art technologies to provide you with the best care possible.

We understand that waiting for your results can be stressful.  That’s why we are committed to interpreting your results and providing a report to your doctor within 24 hours for most exams.

Our Imaging Services

You can receive a range of diagnostic services at our four convenient locations. Our locations are equipped with advanced filmless imaging. Services include:

  • Computed tomography (CT) scans
  • Digital mammography (walk-in screening mammography is available at Framingham Union Hospital and our Wellness Center)
  • DEXA (bone density) scans
  • General radiology
  • Interventional radiology (treatment guided by imaging)
  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans (inpatient service)
  • Nuclear medicine
  • PET/CT scans (offered through a partnership with Shields, Tufts, and MetroWest)
  • Calcium Scoring Tests (at Framingham Union Hospital)
  • Ultrasounds
  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, inpatient service
  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, outpatient service in partnership with MetroWest MRI at our Wellness Center on Rt. 9

Schedule an Imaging Appointment

You can schedule an appointment at any of our locations by calling Central Scheduling at (508) 383-8400 between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Doctors are also able to fax orders to (508) 383-8490.

To schedule an appointment, you’ll need a written doctor’s order, except for screening mammography. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time. If you are unable to make your appointment, notify us as soon as possible.
