Interpretive Language Service
At MetroWest Medical Center, it is important to us that you and your family are able to speak with your care team about your condition and treatments in your preferred language.
The services of a sign-language interpreter or language translator are available upon request through our Interpreter Services Department. We also offer several additional services under the Commonwealth of Massachusetts guidelines.
These services are available at the hospital 24 hours per day, seven days per week, at no charge. Please ask your hospital care team for further assistance or call ext. 8725.
Assistive Devices for the Hearing Impaired
MetroWest offers assistive devices for deaf and hearing-impaired patients to make it easier to communicate with care team members. All devices can be installed directly in your room. Ask a member of your care team for assistance.
If you have other questions, feel free to call us at Framingham Union Hospital at (508) 383-1000 or Leonard Morse Hospital at (508) 650-7000.
