Current Support Groups Available
We believe our commitment to our community extends beyond providing quality health care services. In addition to our hospital-run support groups, MetroWest Medical Center offers meeting spaces to several local support groups and community organizations.
Living With Cancer
Participants of this group include patients and caregivers. The group meets every Tuesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Medical Arts Building at MetroWest Medical Center, 85 Lincoln Street, Framingham.
Breast Cancer Support
Participants include women diagnosed with breast cancer, those newly diagnosed, actively in treatment and those in post treatment. The group meets the third Thursday of every month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Cancer Care lobby of the Cancer Care Center building at MetroWest Medical Center’s Framingham campus.
Look Good ... Feel Better®
A free program of the American teaches beauty techniques to cancer patients to help combat the appearance-related side effects of chemotherapy & radiation treatment. Meetings are held every six – eight weeks from 10 a.m.-12 noon in the Medical Arts Building at MetroWest Medical Center, 85 Lincoln Street, Framingham.
Join the bariatric support group meetings to meet up with others on the same journey. Share, listen, discuss, support and be supported. Support group meetings are held on the second floor of Leonard Morse Hospital, 67 Union Street,Natick. Attendance at monthly meetings is mandatory for patients preparing for bariatric surgery.
