MetroWest Medical Center Collects Thousands of Diapers, Wipes for Local Families in Need

Feb 20, 2019

Diaper DriveMetroWest Medical Center is proud to announce the results of a recent diaper and baby supplies drive. Between the two campuses, Framingham Union Hospital and Leonard Morse Hospital, generous givers donated more than 3,000 diapers and 2,200 baby wipes! All donations have been given to the Framingham Salvation Army.

“Nearly 1 in 3 families struggle to afford diapers for their babies,” said Dr. Andrew Harding, Chief Executive Officer at MetroWest Medical Center. “Hosting this drive at MetroWest Medical Center allowed our colleagues to care for our community in a different way. Thank you to everyone who donated to the drive!”

The Framingham Salvation Army is located at 59 Howard Street. It is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 1pm to serve local families in need. For information about the services they provide, visit their website.
