Cancer Care Support Groups
Throughout the year at MetroWest Medical Center, we work to make sure our patients and members of our community have access to the support they need. For cancer patients and their caregivers, this support can be a vital part of the treatment and recovery journey. We offer cancer support groups to so you can find support, new information and resources and lend support for others. Cancer support groups offered at MetroWest include:
- Living with Cancer Support Group: This program is for both patients and caregivers to find support in the fight against cancer. The group meets every Tuesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Medical Arts Building at MetroWest Medical Center.
- Breast Cancer Support Group: Designed for women diagnosed with breast cancer, this group supports those recently diagnosed, currently in treatment or navigating survivorship. This support group meets every third Thursday of the month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Please contact us for meeting location information.
- Look Good...Feel Better®: A free program of the American teaches beauty techniques to cancer patients to help combat the appearance-related side effects of chemotherapy & radiation treatment. Meetings are held every six – eight weeks from 10 a.m.-12 noon in the Medical Arts Building at MetroWest Medical Center, 85 Lincoln Street, Framingham.
