Movers & Shakers: Andy Witty is human resources director at MetroWest Medical Center

Andy Witty, of Framingham, was recently named human resources director at MetroWest Medical Center.
He is responsible for supporting the hospital’s strategic workforce plan and day-to-day HR operations. He previously served as director of human resources for 42 North Dental in Waltham and as vice president of human resources at EBI Consulting in Burlington.
Witty brings 30 years of human resources experience to his new position.
He holds bachelor of arts degree in sociology, with a minor in business administration, from North Adams State College (now Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts); and a human resources management certificate from Bentley University in Waltham. He also holds certification from the Dale Carnegie Training of Massachusetts and a senior professional in human resources (SPHR) certificate from the HR Certification Institute.
