Local Veteran Family Receives a Playhouse From MetroWest Medical Center and Habitat For Humanity

Aug 13, 2019
Habitat Group

MetroWest Medical Center built and unveiled a New England Patriots themed playhouse for two well-deserving kids of a local Army Veteran family, this afternoon, August 1.

The project is called “Operation Playhouse,” organized by MetroWest Habitat For Humanity.

Employees spent their morning hammering away on a mini house at the Leonard Morse Campus in Natick.

They built the playhouse from the ground up and completed all the finishing touches with paint and furnishings.

Norman Stanikmas and his wife Laura Stanikmas are U.S. Army Veterans and their children were surprised to receive their new playhouse.
