What is Laser Lithotripsy?
Laser Lithotripsy is a minimally invasive technique for treating kidney stones that uses very small, high-definition scopes and a laser to fragment the stones into pieces that can be removed. The stone pieces are then removed through the body’s natural urinary pathways—the ureter, bladder or urethra—while the patient is asleep.
