Thank you for considering the Transitional Year Residency Program at MetroWest Medical Center (MWMC). The goal of our transitional year is to provide a balanced clinical education in adult and pediatric medicine.
Our program is
designed for medical school graduates who desire a broad clinical experience prior to entering a specialized field of study. MWMC is a community hospital in Framingham affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine and Tufts Medical Center
in Boston. It is a friendly place to work and learn.
We have ACGME accredited graduate medical education programs and our graduates have been successful at securing advanced residency programs in anesthesiology, radiology,
ophthalmology, dermatology, and neurology. We participate in ERAS and have 12 positions available for the upcoming academic year. MetroWest Medical Center accepts Green Card and sponsors J-1 Visas through ECFMG.
All the best!
