ABOUT THE PROVIDER

Stephen Raso is a dedicated physical therapist at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, specializing in outpatient orthopedics with a focus on sports-related injuries in young athletes and active adults. He has advanced training in the treatment of shoulder and knee injuries and utilizes specialized manual therapy techniques to help accelerate healing and enhance recovery outcomes.

Stephen's passion for physical therapy began early in life. As a young athlete who played ice hockey, basketball, and baseball, he experienced firsthand the challenges of recovering from sports injuries.

His interest deepened after receiving care from physical therapists at Boston Children's Hospital-an experience that inspired his commitment to helping others return to the activities they love. At MetroWest Medical Center, Stephen is proud to serve a diverse patient population and is especially dedicated to supporting members of the underserved community. He values the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring all patients receive the highest quality of care and individualized attention they deserve.

Drawing from both his professional expertise and personal experience, Stephen emphasizes a collaborative approach to rehabilitation. He works closely with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan that not only addresses physical recovery but also supports mental and emotional well-being throughout the healing journey.
