At MetroWest Medical Center, we believe lab testing should be as quick, convenient and comprehensive as possible. That’s why we do everything we can to make our laboratories and services accessible and accommodating for you and your family. We offer 24-hour services in Framingham and Natick that include:

  • State-of-the-art equipment that is highly automated, allowing us to provide high-quality clinical analysis with accurate and timely result
  • Multiple patient service centers and courier services, including two hospital-based laboratories in Framingham and Natick
  • A comprehensive testing menu, so we’re able to perform the majority of tests on-site
  • Processors, transcriptionists and support staff who are highly trained and dedicated to providing special laboratory services

Our highly trained laboratory personnel are dedicated to performing expert laboratory collection services and providing you with a positive experience. Unlike many national laboratories, we provide both same day and STAT service. This allows test results to be quickly transmitted to your physician’s office or called in directly, even if the request occurs after normal office hours. We are proud that patients consistently report high levels of satisfaction with our laboratory testing services on the Press Ganey patient satisfaction survey.

Your Care Team

Your laboratory care team will include skilled board-certified pathologists  that have many years of experience in clinical and anatomical pathology, as well as specialties such as cytopathology, hematopathology and molecular pathology. Our pathologists work closely with your referring doctor to provide diagnostic interpretation in a timely manner.
